My Half Night With Him is an urban tale about sex, breaking up, karma, past lives and the search for love in the modern age. Set against the backdrop of a busy but often unwelcoming London, My Half Night With Him follows Chinese immigrant Bee, a 32 year old journalist, as she struggles to come to terms with her failing relationship with her long term boyfriend, El, who no longer finds her sexually attractive. The story follows their troubled attempts to rescue their falling sex life and their individual searches for sex and love in a very big and often lonely city. El and Bee both have ultimately found the strength to refuse the karma from their past life. This film is a journey of self-realisation and of understanding love and destiny as both the main characters ultimately find their new soul-mates in London.
