Where lives, languages, and hearts intersect, Foreign Language explores the words we use within the worlds we inhabit--from life and love, to death and despair. While two German girlfriends negotiate to save an unborn life, a dying Greek mother reveals her sickness to her Arabic daughter; and while a married couple's relationship comes to an end, a young couple who speak separate languages is coming together. A heartfelt drama of four overlapping, multilingual dialogues, this short film reveals that the heart only speaks one language.
