Having immigrated to Canada and unable to find work, Mourad (Soroush Saeidi), accepts an invitation to drive an illegal taxi in Toronto in the hopes of making a better life for his daughter. Throughout his journey of a night picking up fares and witnessing their crimes, he questions his morality, judgment, and what it takes to make money in our society.
