Heart Beats Fire is a documentary about the life and death of artist Richard Barker. The film details his work as a musician and abstract painter. Including his band Otis Vanilla and Sex Machine. The film also explores his personal struggles over being abandoned by his father, and deals with his struggles with drugs that lead to his untimely death.
